Is there supposed to be any thinking behind this dumb comment? Or did you just have a strong unconscious desire to talk about repressed homosexuality?
From a psychological standpoint i find it interesting it made you angry. Why is that? 
My reasoning is that someone who is attracted to male features, but is in denial about it, will add those features to a female he is trying to make attractive.

I sometimes wish i was bi. I get along with gay men fabulously, and it would double my partner options. But the male body is just too utilitarian for my tastes. Like a machine or something. I feel nothing for it at all.
